This pendant is well known to planar travelers. There are dozens of different models of this pendant, some resembling crosses or ankhs, and others being more geometric. To an ordinary person this pendant looks as basic as any piece of jewelry. But a creature with at least 8 ranks in the Knowledge (The planes) skill will notice that the pendant has a special and very faint magical aura. The wearer of the pendant receives the Planar Touchstone feat as long as he wears the pendant and he has at least 8 ranks in the Knowledge (The planes) skill. When he visits any site designated as a Touchstone or a Planar Touchstone, he can store the Base Ability and the High-order Ability of the Touchstone site in the pendant. He can store Base Ability and the High-order Ability of only 1 Touchstone or Planar Touchstone at time. The pendant always count as a Touchstone key for obtaining the effect of any Touchstone sites or Planar Touchstone sites he visits. A Spellcraft check (DD22) allows the wearer of the pendant to know whether the item already contains the magic of a Touchstone or not, and (if any) allow him the approximative location of that Touchstone.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, Permanency, Identify, the creator must have the Planar Touchstone feat.
