Abilities: Performers benefit from a strong Charisma, and many have good Dexterity as well. Everyone needs Constitution as well, and Intelligence to master many performances. Of course, no right minded performer should ever desire to see combat...

Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Performer.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: The expert is proficient in the use of all simple weapons, the baton, and with light armor but not shields.

Bardic Music: As a bard of their level. However they gain what songs are available at different levels as shown below.

Countersong (Su): As a bard as long as the performer has 3 or more ranks in a Perform skill.

Fascinate (Sp): As a bard as long as the performer has 3 or more ranks in a Perform skill.

Inspire Courage (Su): As a bard as long as the performer has 5 or more ranks in a Perform skill. It grants a +1 bonus at 2nd, and improves the bonus every 8 levels after (10th, 18th).

Inspire Competence (Su): As a bard as long as the performer has 7 or more ranks in a Perform skill.

Job Performance (Ex): The performer is really good at their job. They gain a +1 competence bonus to all Perform checks, and increase it by 1 every odd level.

Big Band (Ex): The 3rd level performer knows their musical theory well and can conduct others to be better players. They can conduct music for any number of performers within 100 ft using their highest ranks in any perform skill, and other performers may use the result or their normal result for the purpose of determining their performance.

Timeless Hit: The 20th level performer has written an excellent musical score which will be remembers through history. Beyond any possible fame, those who perform this musical score with a Perform check of DC 30 or higher can gain the benefits of bardic music, as if they were a Performer of their level. This is a subtle magical effect held within the pages of the music itself, and it may benefit its targets only 1/day no matter how many times it is played. These "performance scrolls" have an item value of 1800 gp. They craft these items as if they held the appropriate feats.
