Planar Momentum [General] Prerequisites: Rift Slash class feature, Gravity Ripple class feature, Knowledge (The Planes) 9 ranksBenefit: When you use Rift Slash to teleport, you conserve momentum. You can also use Rift Slash to fling yourself short distances after the teleport - When you Rift Slash, you can choose to move up to 5ft per point of Strength bonus as a free action afterwards, and this can be done in between attacks on a full attack. If you hit a solid obstacle during this movement, you take damage as if you had fallen the combined distance of the teleport and the after-teleport movement. This holds true if you end a full attack using this method without releasing your momentum. To release your momentum and prevent yourself from taking falling damage, your last attack must be a Gravity Ripple attack, sending your inertia moving out in a wave while leaving you behind.

If you have the Rift Fling class feature, you can add this extra movement to the distance you send a target with that ability, and subject them to the effects of the inertia, such as flinging them into a wall, etc.

Falling is a free action, so one possible technique is using Rift Slash to teleport high into the air, fall, and use Rift Slash again at the last second to change to a horizontal direction, flying toward a target, whom you can then harm worse due to the momentum of your attack. It's up to your DM how much bonus damage you'll gain, but 1d6 damage for every 20ft you fell is acceptable. However, unless the attack that utilizes your momentum is a Gravity Ripple, you will also take this damage.
