A burning fireball streaked from the sky and crashed into the ground, bursting into a dozen tiny dolls which proceeded to explode further and further away.
From the same creators as the eijilund softshields, the mad constructors behind this project had managed to create plush simulacrums to be used as ammunition for large barreled weapons such as shotguns, blunderbusses, cannons, and other siege devices. Contained in a thin brass shell which radiates an uncomfortable amount of heat at all times, these heavy shots explode into tiny non-sentient versions of eijilund plushies that proceed to bounce around and explode.
After hitting the target (or the space around the target) it explodes into a 10 ft radius fireball that deals 6d6 damage, DC 10 + 1/2 BAB + ability modifier for attack roll (usually Dex) Reflex save for half. On a direct hit, targets receive no save for the initial damage. The swarm sticks around afterwards, creatures ending their turns in the area are subject to damage. Plush shots overlap, they do not stack.
On subsequent rounds, the swarm of dolls expands out to 20 ft radius but deals 4d6, and then 30 ft radius dealing 2d6 damage after which the swarm disperses at the end of the third round. The swarm of dolls can be attacked. Treat it as a Fine swarm with no HD and 30 hp. It does not have Distraction, and is considered a magical object, not a creature.
The dolls are extremely flammable. Fire damage in the area of a plush shot swarm deals +1 damage per die.
The plush shot recognizes the person who fired them as an ally, and does not harm them, but otherwise has no sense of friend or foe and attacks everyone equally. The swarm can be commanded to move up to 20 ft as a move action.
I think one of the shots is leaking. I saw one of the dolls running around laughing, and I feel all itchy. You don't think it's inside me, do you?
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, fireball, must be an eijilund plushie or be able to emulate it.
