As you don the earring, your vision sharpens.
The earring grants a competence bonus to Spot checks equal to +3.
The wearer may make Spot checks as swift actions.
Being a part of the Predator's Armament set (other pieces are the beast claws, tail belt and wolf pelt), the earring gains additional powers when worn together with other pieces of the set:
- 2 pieces: the wearer may make Spot checks as free actions.
- 3 pieces: the wearer gains darkvision out of 60 feet (18 meters) and low-light vision.
- 4 pieces: the wearer may increase, as a free action, the range increment of ranged weapons by one-half for 3 minutes per day. It may divide the time in smaller increments.
Special: A character with all the set's pieces may transform in a land, predatory mammal of its choosing, with its same size, and gains a bite attack that deals damage as a longsword of its size. It gains also an enhancement bonus to Strength, Dexterity and Constitution equal to +2. The transformation lasts one hour per day, but may be divided in smaller increments. Transforming into the animal form and back is a move action. All the benefits from this set are active in animal form.
