Reverse Tauric[edit]

Placed on creatures with four or more legs, this makes them more into a centaur-like creature with a vaguely humanoid upper torso. The upper half is humanoid but not human, and they retain their original, often beastly, nature combined with the natural might of possessing a set of hands.

Creating a Reverse Tauric[edit]

This is typically an inherited template placed on creatures with four or more legs and who are not already tauric in nature.

Size and Type[edit]

The creature's size and type are unchanged, though creatures of the Animal type become Magical Beasts. Do not recalculate the creature’s Hit Dice, base attack bonus, saves, or skill points if its type changes.

Special Qualities[edit]

Tauric: The creature gains a humanoid upper body in place of where their head would normally be, much like a centaur. This gives them a set of hands which can be used to hold and wield weapons one size smaller than normal. If they have a bite attack they retain it, but it goes down one size category. The creature counts as always mounted whenever beneficial, and can ignore Mounted Combat and Ride ranks as pre-requisites.
