This ring is embossed with an image of a lion. Like the lion you must be pretty brave to attack while the opponent is about to strike you down.
While wearing the ring of riposte, if you attack a creature who is in the midst of attacking you (such as if the creature provokes an attack of opportunity, or certain martial counters), you deal a mini-crit with your weapon. The weapon must either be a piercing weapon or finesseable. The weapon deals +50% of its normal damage. If the attack is a critical hit, add +50% after the critical multiplier.
Creatures immune to critical hits are immune to the mini-crit of this ring.
Prerequisites: Forge Ring, haste.
