Secret Art, Obsessive Devotion: EX-PUH-LO-ZHUN [General]
Prerequisites: Must have access to 3rd level arcane spell slots, Spell Focus (Evocation)Benefit: As a one-round action (which could be interrupted as though you were casting a spell) you prepare to unleash all of your arcane might upon an unfortunate target. At the end of the one-round action, expend all arcane spell slots you have remaining. This causes you to replicate the fireball spell with the following changes:
- This fireball has a radius of 5 feet for every 2 spell levels spent.
- This fireball does a number of dice of damage equal to twice the total number of spell levels spent.
- This fireball does force damage instead of fire damage and does d4s of damage instead of d6s.
- The DC of the fireball is equal to the DC of your highest level spell, and is affected by effects that would increase the DC of evocation spells.
Example: If you used this while you possessed three uncast 1st-level spell, four 2nd-level uncast spell, two 3rd-level uncast spell, and a 4th level uncast spell, then the effective spell power of the "fireball" would be 3 x 1 + 4 x 2 + 2 x 3 + 4 = 3 + 8 + 6 + 4 = 21. This would mean that it would have a radius of 50', and would do 42d4 force damage.
