Shining Jade Corpsman

“	In infernal pit or celestial height, no creature can resist my might. Let those who worship elder evils's might, beware my power! The jade green light!	”

The shining jade corpsmen are pretty much the cops of the multiverse. They each possess a single ring of power, capable of doing incredible thing pretty much only limited to conju- imagination. They specialize in hunting the servants of elder evil and other creatures that like to toy with the cosmic order.

Becoming a Shining Jade Corpsman

Entry Requirements  

Alignment:	Any Lawful or Good.
Base Attack Bonus:	+10.
Skills:	Knowledge (The Planes) (15 Ranks).
Feats:	Synchronize Magic Item.
Special:	Must be selected by the Shining Jade Corps as a potential member and must have succeeded it trials.

Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Shining Jade Corpsman.

Shining Jade Ring: Upon taking his first class level, a shinning jade corpsman receive a free shining jade ring. The ability scores requirement of the shining jade ring is based on the shining jade corpsman's highest mental ability score instead of wisdom.

Perfect Synchronization (Ex): The benefits of the synchronize magic item feat is now based on the shining jade corpsman's highest mental ability score instead of charisma.

Destructive Jade Light: A 2nd level shining jade corpsman is capable of unleashing hell with his shining jade ring. He may now use the ring to replicate the effect of greater shadow evocation.

Willpower (Ex): A 2nd level shining jade corpsman is able to make any effect created by his shining jade ring 100% by overcharging it with willpower. Doing so require a full-round action using the ring (instead of a standard action) and cause 1d4 points of ability burn to his highest mental ability score and half as much to his other mental ability scores rounded down (minimum of 0).

Physical Light (Ex): A 3rd level shining jade corpsman can apply the physical spell metamagic feat to any effects created by his shining jade ring.

Shining Jade Shield (Su): A 3rd level shining jade corpsman gain a hard shield as long as he wear his shining jade ring. The shield hardness is equal to his shining jade corpsman level +1 and it grant a deflection bonus to AC equal to the shining jade corpsman's highest mental ability score bonus. As long as his shield is up, the shining jade corpsman is immune to any environmental effect, no matter how harsh, allowing him to travel into space or swim in lava without harm.

Jadefire Knight: A 4th level shining jade corpsman is mighty indeed, he become immune to fear, charmed effect and moral penalties as long as he wear his ring. Additionally he may recover 1 point of ability burn incurred by the use of his willpower ability to on of his ability with a 1 minute meditation.

Supreme Jade Light: A 5th level shining jade corpsman is capable of of pretty much everything with his shining jade ring. He may now use the ring to replicate the effect of shades (solid effects only for conjuration).

Ex-Shining Jade Corpsman

If the shining jade corpsman alignment become both non-good and non-lawful he is expelled from the shining jade corps. His light turn yellow which has no effects whatsoever on his abilities.

Campaign Information

Playing a Shining Jade Corpsman

Combat: Since the prestige class come in rather late in a character progression a shining jade corpsman acquired several skills already. Disregard them and spam the ring's abilities.

Advancement: Whatever.

Resources: While the shining jade corps is the assumed default for this class, many other corps also exist with different color. These corps probably have different alignment restrictions.

Shining Jade Corpsman are pretty much multiversial cops, when a deity mess up big time they are often the one doing the dirty work of 'cleaning it up'. As a result they are pretty much loved and hated at the same time.

NPC Reactions: Most people have no idea what a shining jade corpsman is, so they pretty much see a flying guy or gal wearing green and making boxing glove out of light. This is not seen well by the common dirt farmer but since even the lowest shining jade corpsman is near epic they can't do anything about it.
