Shooting Star is a ranger archetype of the Ranger class.

The Shooting Stars study arcane secrets in the hopes that others don't have to. They seek out the most terrible magics, keeping what can be safely used and wiping out the rest. While many find great power, those brilliant lights burn out all the quicker.

Occult Lore

Starting at 3rd level, you learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Shooting Stars Spells table. These spells count as ranger spells for you, but don’t count against the number of ranger spells you know. Shooting Star Spells

Ranger Level Spells
1st magic missile,mage armor
3rd see invisibility,misty step
5th bestow curse,dispel magic
7th resilient sphere,black tentacles
9th flame strike, dispel evil and good

Natural Recovery

At 3rd level, you can regain some of your magical energy by sitting in meditation and communing with nature. During a short rest, you choose expended spell slots to recover. The spell slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than one-fourth your ranger level (rounded up). You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

For example, if you’re a 6th-level ranger, you can recover up to two levels worth of spell slots. You can recover either one 2nd-level spell slot or two 1st-level spell slots.

Unbending Focus

Starting at 7th level, you have advantage on any Constitution saving throw you make to maintain your concentration on a spell.

Arcane Attack

Starting at 11th level, you've learned to infuse your magic into your weaponry. When you use your action to cast a ranger spell, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action.

Spell Reflection

At 15th level, You gain the supernatural ability to reflect magical attacks back on their caster. If you make a successful saving throw against a spell, or a spell attack misses you, you can use you reaction to choose another creature (including the spellcaster) you can see within 30 feet.

The spell targets the chosen creature instead of you. If the spell forced a saving throw, the chosen creature makes its own save. If the spell was an attack, the attack roll is rerolled against the chosen creature.
