Silversteel[edit]

A treated alloy of alchemical silver, alchemically-inverse silver and fine steel. The result is a silvery blade that has the metaphysical properties of silver, and the hardness of a steel weapon. Silversteel is the common name for the alloy, but it is often referred to by scholars as Argent-de-Lune. Silversteel is immune to corrosion, such as from rust monster or the rusting grasp spell. Silversteel is so costly that weapons and armor made from it are always of masterwork quality; the masterwork cost is included in the prices given below.

A weapon made of silversteel bypasses damage reduction and regeneration as if it was made of alchemical silver.

If made into armor, silversteel provides an incandescent mirror-like sheen and greater flexibility. A silversteel armor has its armor check penalty reduced by 2.

Silversteel has 30 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 10.

Type of Silversteel Item Item Cost Modifier
Ammunition +30 gp
Light armor +750 gp
Medium armor +1,000 gp
Heavy armor +2,000 gp
Weapon +1,500 gp
