Soulbind Eldritch Horror
Warlock Greater; 5th

When you use this invocation you summon a phantasmal aberration of impossible geometry and horrifying appearance. It floats just behind you in your square. The creature is technically a projection, though it can be dismissed or banished as if it were a separate outsider creature. However you can just re-summon them next round. Unlike most invocations, you can only have one soulbind invocation active at one time. Using another one causes the first to vanish.

While soulbound to the eldritch horror you count as a aberration for the purposes of interacting with spells and effects such as a ranger's favored enemy. While soulbound to this invocation you gain access to the following abilities.

Consume Sanity (Sp): As a touch attack you can try and devour a creature's sanity, dealing your eldritch blast damage and forcing a Will save (DC 15 + Cha modifier) or becoming confused as the spell.

Flash of Insane Insight (Su): You can take a swift action to gain a insight bonus on any skill check equal to your 5 + caster level. However you take 1 point of Wisdom burn each time you do this. Unlike most wisdom burn, all wisdom burn caused by this ability is removed after resting for 8 hours.

Horrifying Presence (Su): Hostile creatures within 30 ft are subject to your automatic gaze attack, and must make a Will save (DC 15 + Cha modifier) or be shaken for as long as they remain in the area and 5 rounds after. A creature which saves is immune for 24 hours. As a standard action you can gaze into their soul within 30 ft and force a Will save against shaken regardless if they previously saved or not. This is a mind-affecting fear effect.

Impossible Geometry (Su): You move through spaces which aren't there. You can effectly teleport as your move action or move actions, and do not provoke for movement as you are teleporting. You do not need line of sight, but you do need line of effect.

Warp Tentacle (Ex): You gain a tentacle attack which deals 1d4 damage (for a medium creature). Those struck by your tentacle also take 2 points of Wisdom damage, or 4 points on a confirmed critical hit.
