Changes

Any spell with the [[SRD:Fire Effect|Fire]] descriptor cast within a gelidus dragon's uttercold wreath immediately fizzles upon casting unless the spellcaster that cast the spell succeeds on a [[SRD:Caster Level|caster level]] check against the gelidus dragon's [[SRD:Spell Resistance|spell resistance]], even if such a spell normally wouldn't allow [[SRD:Spell Resistance|spell resistance]]. This effect also applies to fire-based [[SRD:Supernatural Ability|supernatural abilities]], which are treated as fire-based spells with a [[SRD:Caster Level|caster level]] equal to the user's effective character level/[[SRD:Hit Dice|HD]]. If the fire spell also targets or is cast in a way as to affect the gelidus dragon personally, the caster must check against the dragon's [[SRD:Spell Resistance|spell resistance]] a second time (if the spell allows [[SRD:Spell Resistance|spell resistance]]) before the spell takes any effect on the dragon.
