This feat is intended to be used with the Better Counterspelling rules. It doesn't do much without that variant.
Spell Slayer [General]
Benefit: You gain an addition number of Attacks of Opportunity equal to the attribute modifier that determines your spell DCs. If you do not have an attribute that determines your spell DCs, you gain a number of bonus Attacks of Opportunity equal to your dexterity modifier. Unlike standard Attacks of Opportunity, these bonus attacks may only be used to counter spells in accordance with the Better Counterspelling rules. Additionally, you may use the same spell slot for each counter attempt that you make during the round between your turns. If you use a 5th level spell to counter one spell, for example, you do not have to expend any further slots to counter any other 5th level spell or lower that passes through your threat range before your next turn, though each attempt uses up an Attack of Opportunity.
If you use a dispel to counter a spell as an immediate action, you may also use that spell to counter any other spell that passes through your threat range before your next turn. You must succeed on a caster level check with these counter attempts, and they use up Attacks of Opportunity.
Normal: You do not gain bonus Attacks of Opportunity to counter spells with, and must use a spell for each spell that you counter.Special: This feat may be used in place of Improved Counterspell for the purpose of meeting prerequisites.
