This polished brown beetle carapace has built in wings and large horned helmet like a stag beetle. Entering it gives you the flight of a beetle in a protective shell.
A set of +1 thresh carapace full plate complete with elytra and a large stag horn helmet attached to the armor by the back of the neck with hinges. It takes up the body, shoulder, and head body slots. When donned you gain resistance to acid 10 from its material, a gore natural attack (1d8 plus Strength and a half for Medium creatures), constant feather fall effect, and the ability to fly at your land speed (perfect maneuverability). Flight can be activated as a swift action, and you can fly up to 4 consecutive rounds per +1 enhancement bonus the armor possesses (so a base of 4 rounds) before you need to rest an equal number of rounds equal to the amount you flew. In addition, when you make a successful gore attack you can choose to start a bull rush as a free action as part of the attack without provoking attacks of opportunity.
You can fall prone and take total defense with the armor, covering yourself almost completely but being immobile. You do not take the -4 penalty to AC against melee attacks and benefit from improved evasion, but do not threaten or move.
