Mechanical steampunk wings grant flight, but be wary of the icing problem.

These cybernetic wings are fused to the back, shoulders, and ribcage and made part of the body. The wings themselves are mechanical using a combination of traditional flapping and high pressure steam jets to enable flight. It gives a fly speed of 60 ft (average), and you can enable a sprinting as a swift action once per hour to move x10 your normal flight speed for 1 round. The wings can fold up against your body and folds up tight, but their presence makes the creature need custom non-humanoid armor (thus x2 price).

However the mechanical wings have a problem with cold. Whenever the user takes cold damage they must make a DC 15 Reflex save or have their wings ice over. When iced over their flight speed drops to 0 ft and become non-functional until they have taken enough fire damage equal to the cold damage that iced them over in the first place. They can also be manually scraped and warmed up over the course of 1 minute.

The increased amount of metal in the body causes the grafted creature to count as being made of metal, such as what happens when hit with rusting grasp.

Steamcog Wings function with any corporeal creature. During construction, spells are employed to power the mechanical aspects, but once applied it is forever a mundane part of the creature.

Graft Flesh (Any), create water, fly, heat metal; Price 8,000 gp
