This black blade is inscribed with ancient rune in a forgotten language which shed slight amount of light, it is a cursed sealing blade that was created by a corrupted wish to seal away a great evil forever. The blade itself was potent but few could use it for long, ultimately resulting in the loss of the land that created it. Unknown to them a command word existed to pacify the curse, which may only be discovered through another wish.
The blade is a +5 Adamantine Short Sword with a 20/x4 critical hit, it grant it wielder an extra 4d6 sneak attack which stack with any sneak attack they may have and all attacks made with it are resolved as touch attack. The blade emit light as a candle, when it swung it emit a much larger amount which result it in illuminating like a torch.
The sword is constantly under the effect of antipathy (DC 25) affecting everyone, however if the command word is spoken the effect does not affect the speaker. If a creature succeed on it save it must attempt another each 24 hours, often abandoning the sword. This effect bypass immunity to mind-affecting spell and even mindless creatures, who instinctively shun the blade. Once the blade is successfully grasped, the wielder is placed under a mark of the outcastSpC and brand heretic (chaotic evil) effect which cannot be removed at all while it is still in their possession, after the blade is discarded the effect may be removed normally.
As a full-round action the sword may be planted into the ground or in a slain creature as the command word is spoken, covering the entire area in an all-encompassing antipathy and forbiddance effect, which ignore immunities. The area can extend to up to 3 miles in radius, but can be reduced to a single building or room depending on what the wielded decided to ward. If planted in a creature within 1 minute of it being slain, it trap it soul in it body and immediately petrify it. If the sword is unearthed (DC 10 Strength check) from the creature's body the area is freed from it effect and the soul of the slain monster is freed.
The Sword of Taboo is a unique item that cannot be replicated, but is not an artifact and thus may be destroyed or enhanced further as normal.
