Unintended Consequences?[edit]

So, if you can take a perception check each round as a free action, you can elect to take 10 on your perception checks all of the time at no cost, even when they're spending their actions doing other things that used to serve as a distraction. That's a pretty substantial boost for a level 1 character (and every guard on watch), and not one I'm sure you meant to allow. - Tarkisflux Talk 07:43, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

Edit: Also, which part of perception does this apply to? Just the notice ability? The See the Invisible, etc. ability? The Discern Fraud and Discern Transformation abilities (which are full-round actions)? Not all perception checks are standard actions, and I don't know if this is intended to make all of them free actions or just a subset of them. - Tarkisflux Talk 07:47, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
Pushed it back towards where you had it originally, since I think you nerfed it a bit much. Undo or update or whatever if you think it needs it of course. - Tarkisflux Talk 16:25, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
