Making Fun of Myself[edit]

I realize I did one of those things that I make fun of other people for doing, with this class. You have a very strong incentive to declare that you're in combat at the end of every previous combat, so you can ready all your highest-level maneuvers. What's the best solution to this nonsense, in this case?

My current solutions, which I don't particularly like, are:

  • Put a daily limit (hard or soft) on number of combats started per day, and a maximum length of each combat.
  • Put a maximum length on each combat, so that probabilistically, a Battlebrute who starts a new "combat" at the end of every previous one will only be halfway to their maximum.

What do? --Foxwarrior (talk) 01:30, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

I think those problems should be resolved by DM's fiat. Anyway, I like the concept, but it seems a bit bare bones. --The bluez in the dungeon (talk) 18:56, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
