Talk:Blattodea (3.5e Monster)
From Dungeons and Dragons Wiki
Hey just thought here, but you might want to describe the creature instead of saying it looks like so-and-so, because I for one have no idea what a Gokiburi looks like. By the way what is this whole Xenotheria (I'm assuming that's the word for it) thing anyway? Are they from alternate Material planes or are they from worlds within the Prime Realm or are they just aliens (by far the lamest option if you ask me.) --ThirdEmperor 03:34, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
- What, image and links not enough? (EDIT: I stand corrected, for some reason there was no gokiburi linkage). Heh, well you have a point, if they couldn't load the image or didn't click the links they wouldn't know so I'll fluff on that. On Xenotherics, to summerize they are aliens, based in the material, but subject to vastly different and alien environments. That's similar to aberration, were it not for the addition that they are not born on the 'normal world'. Sort of like an extraplanar (often aberration) that is from the material instead. Btw, I would consider "alternate material plane" to be also xenotheric as Sulacu has put the inhabitants of Xen (Half-Life) as xenotheric beings. Actually, that's where the thing came from. So the short answer: Both.
- Click the link embedded in the subtype for a more accurate wording (it's Sulacu's invention). It comes in Xenotheric, and Xenoblooded which is like Outsider to Planetouched in terms of power. Now to fluff. -- Eiji Hyrule 04:52, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
