Balance Point[edit]

Wizard-level seems like a stretch for this particular feat. Sure, claw attacks are nice and all, but other than that a swim speed and spell resistance don't add up to a Wizard-level feat. I would probably put this at Rogue BP personally. - TG Cid 12:13, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

The other thing is I'm not convinced that this feat is actually better than the Aspect of the Beetle feat (which I put as Rogue-level), since it offers blindsight at level 15 as opposed to an augmented critical (which I would label as almost Fighter-level since it doesn't aid in confirming critical threats). The other question I have is: Do the benefits of this feat supercede the effects of Aspect of the Beetle? The text ("The individual benefits of that feat are also altered") would suggest so, but it seems redundant to me to only get one feat for the price of two, unless the benefits of that feat were strong enough to be worth it in the eyes of the player. In this particular case, I'm not sure this feat is worth it. - TG Cid 12:57, March 28, 2010 (UTC)
Whoops. Yeah, this isn't supposed to be at Wizard level (halfway through working on it, it was giving a +4 bonus to constitution, but, as you can see, that's been removed. I just forgot to change it back down to Rogue level). I'll fix that.
As for the augmenting criticals, don't forget that this feat gives that benefit to all your natural weapons (all claw attacks, all gore attacks, all bites, all probiscus attacks, all tentacles, all slams, all licks, all kicks, and all headbutts (if you have any natural weapons labelled 'headbutt')), so, more than just improved critical.
To answer your other question, these benefits are in addition to the original Aspect of the Beetle feat, so you'd be getting SR and the breath weapon at the same time. --Mock Turtle 13:15, March 28, 2010 (UTC)
