Interesting Concept[edit]

I'm trying to narrow in how I feel here about this. I almost wish it functioned more like true strike, granting +20 to the DC of the spell. In actuality of the gameplay, that's likely to matter very little unless the case is severely lopsided (like fighting a deity or something ludicrous, in which case, color spraying Ao isn't going to let you win DnD anyhow). Infinite DC appears to simply be a means of minimizing complications and adding numbers. To finish, generally, this appears to promote using some of your favorite low-level spells at higher levels of gameplay where their DCs would be typically to low to be effective in combat. Nothing wrong is jumping out at me at this point. --Ganteka Future 18:55, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

+10 DC is about the same as +20 attack because of the level interactions. Setting that at +4/5 spell levels might work just as well if you wanted an alternate. - Tarkisflux 20:17, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
