So, I was thinking instead of DR Variant, maybe call it Heroic Child or something like that. Opinions? The Dire Reverend 03:22, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

I don't see what is wrong with using the word variant. It lets people know that the template should actually just be called "Child", but the name was already taken. --Aarnott 17:28, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
Well, the preexisting child template already says variant, so I could push for calling my version just child, but that seems like a dick move. I dunno, to me calling it variant makes it sound boring (no offense to all the variants out there). Anyways, what are your opinions on fluff and balance? The Dire Reverend 07:11, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
For fluff, how about. "Most people don't achieve anything of note. Some people, like Adventurers, learn to be more effective through training or experience. But even they have to wait until they are physically and mentally mature adults before they can start to achieve their goals. There are a few, very rare, individuals who don't wait until they are adults. These exceptional beings seem to have the capacity to be significant actors in the world from childhood."
