This is actually a pretty good swashbuckler compressed to 12 levels and made interesting. |
Thanks
Tarkis I welcome your contribution. I wanted to run the ToP bits by you eventually but now that done it very fine. --Leziad 04:59, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- This class is very well made, but there's one detail that bothers me. A 7th level Swashbuckler is able to add his Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence AND Charisma bonuses to damage? Doesn't that make a lot of ability scores? -HarrowedMind (talk) 20:31, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
- While it does, it unlikely all three will all that high. The only case I can think of when all three are above 14 is at very high level, but then the bonus +4/+6/+8 won\'t be all that impressive. I added charisma as incentive to have a high charisma, I may go back and make Charisma Blade an ACF instead. Still musing about it. --Leziad (talk) 21:09, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
ToP Skills[edit]
I'm not sure they actually need 10 skill points, they get combat options that other classes (fighter / barb) have to dig into skills for, but it's probably not a big deal. They do need some extra skills though. I'd add Arcana (because I want everyone in ToP to have a magic skill if they want to get in on that game) and either Psychology or Devices to bring them up to 13 class skills.
Or if you don't think they need 10 points, I'd just add Arcana to get them to 12 class skills and drop them to 8 points. - Tarkisflux Talk 04:58, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- I think 10 point suit just fine, they are between rogues and fighter. I think I will add Arcana and Psychology as suggested. --Leziad 05:00, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- I did it, I would be interested in hearing your opinion about the class. --Leziad 05:38, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
