Talk:Coffee (3.5e Equipment)

A cup of coffee weighs 1/8 of a pound... but a gallon is enough for 8 drinks? Weights and measures: 1 gallon = 4 quarts = 8 pints = 16 cups 1 gallon water = about 8 pounds So it appears you're not using the measurement "cup" but... an espresso shot? So, to be consistent, increase the weight of a cup, increase the number of drinks per gallon, or a cup of coffee isn't enough to be a drink (which makes that listing kinda pointless).

Although the 1 hour fatigue might be a bit of an exaggeration, the mechanical benefits seem like a cool trade-off and fit the overall idea of what coffee actually does. All the dehydration stuff seems a little excessive for my tastes just because I prefer simpler things without all sorts of extra stemming subrules. From a simulation perspective though, it works well enough. All in all, I like the mechanical benefits enough and how they represent coffee in a way that actually would be involved in a game to give this article a like.

I'm rounding up my rating. I'm in between a neutral and a like.
