Armor[edit]

This should probably exist for armor too. --Foxwarrior 01:08, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

I second that. --Ghostwheel 05:11, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
Alright, I'm on it. --Ganteka Future 05:53, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
Were you aware of the similar Blueshine from MIC (p9)? This doesn't have the oddball +2 Hide on it though, and that one is 1500g. -- Eiji-kun 07:07, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
Silly Eiji, we actually had a conversation about it back when I first wrote this article, when I originally limited Corrosion Nix to weapons, as to not step on Blueshine's toes. Blueshine is oddly limiting, and yeah, that +2 Hide bonus is out of nowhere. I figure, an adventurer is either going to go out of his way to protect his gear or not bother at all, and it might as well be made available as soon as possible for those folks who do care. Acid damaged gear so rarely pops up anyhow. Considering I never hear anything about Blueshine, I'm not worried about the price difference for however WotC decided to price it in the first place. --Ganteka Future 00:48, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

Well costed and it helps ward off fighting men from one of the worst DM tricks ever devised: the equipment destroying Rust Monster. I could certainly see most DMs actually allowing this enhancement at their table and it would be a great investment for any character to ward their equipment with.
