Okay how do I edit the title?Bhu (talk) 07:17, 11 October 2014 (UTC)

Ahahahaha, I got this. Move incoming. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 07:23, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
To answer your question, you sort of don't. A page title is pretty much set once it's made. If you need to correct it, you need to move the page to a different page name. If you're using the default wiki skin, you can find the "Move" option in the dropdown next to the search bar. Just select it, update the new name, and select any extra options you want for the move. Most of the time you should unselect the redirect option since it keeps your old page present (Eiji did not, not sure if he forgot or just wanted to make sure that you saw new page), as an admin will need to delete the redirect page otherwise. - Tarkisflux Talk 06:17, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
The latter, though actually I thought only mods had the move option. Ah, ok then! The more you know! -- Eiji-kun (talk) 11:55, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
IPs certainly can't, but I'm pretty sure that registered users can... though they might have to also be emailconfirmed / autoconfirmed (registered with multiple edits) / bots (not really a common thing, I admit) to do so. I could test more to sort out exact specs I guess, but meh. - Tarkisflux Talk 02:07, 13 October 2014 (UTC)

Challenge Rating[edit]

CR... 44...?

Does CR even mean anything at that point? I mean, with a properly built level 20 cleric, you can take it down in a round or so... --Ghostwheel (talk) 12:15, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

Eh, I've made similar CRed things. My primeval dragons cap out at around 40. That said the damage on this thing's attacks is kinda piss poor. A decently optimized level 20 party and some buff stacking will tear this thing a new anus. --Sulacu (talk) 12:51, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
And I'd say it again regarding those. At that point in the game (and much earlier,) parties are so divergent that CR means nothing. --Ghostwheel (talk) 13:23, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
I disagree. CR is fine the way it is, if nothing else as an indication of how hard a monster should be to kill and how much experience you are awarded for doing it. Attempts can be made to make the statistics more appropriate for its CR. Contrariwise, there's also nothing wrong with leaving CR unmentioned in my opinion, but in general that only serves to make your monster harder to find in the list of articles. If you have an issue with epic-level challenges in general, that's not a matter that can be addressed easily on the talk page of any one article with epic content. --Sulacu (talk) 13:46, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

Epic critter CR is always a pain in the ass, and the only reference point you have is the ELH, which is not always great. Comparing it to stuff there is how I got the CR, though I could always simply buff it up to match 40 if everyone thinks it's weak. Ideally it remains invisible and then opens with it's breath, which will do wonders for messing up the parties spellcasters. Bhu (talk) 20:23, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

Citation Formatting[edit]

If you want to cite a feat's source directly, we have a handy template for it. {{Cite|Dra3}} will put a Dra wherever you leave it, so dropping it right after the relevant feats will link them back. You can also change the "Dra" part to an abbreviation for a different publication to link to that instead, like {{Cite|CAr3}} to link to Complete Arcane at CAr. We should have them for all of the major 3.x feat sources by now.

Just wanted to point it out :-) - Tarkisflux Talk 17:11, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
