Hey just wondeirng about the energy pool, if i don't spend them all do they stack through to the next day? or is it 3x character level max, and if i don't use them, i just lose them. ty Balthuras 03:39, October 17, 2010 (UTC)

Just my opinions here, but I think the wording for Dragon Magic is a little confusing regarding what level of spells you can select. Global Jump also seems a bit... strange to add to a class that's a mix of a fighter with dragonic magic supplementing the face that it has no bonus feats. just my 2 cents. Hey, should "Armor Mastery" also help with Max Dex bonus and Armor Check Penalty? Since armor is essentially becoming a second skin to the dragoon - Kylem2013 (talk) 03:59, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
Also, finding class skills for dragons outside of the MM is difficult, if some assistance could be given there - Kylem2013 (talk) 04:02, 24 January 2015 (UTC)

Reddit Publicity[edit]

Not super relevant to the class itself, but there's a wonderful reddit thread claiming this is overpowered. The popular examples are Global Jump and Planar Jump. It's kind of sad / kind of funny to see it called OP when the class feature literally references spells that the wizard and sorcerer obtain at the same (sometimes lower) level.

More on topic: This seems worthy of VH balance, considering it can dumpster dive for wiz/sorc spells with Dragon Magic and its combat routine looks pretty strong. --YouLostMe (talk) 20:32, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

Really? Huh, got a link for my curiosity? -- Eiji-kun (talk) 14:47, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
Link here. --YouLostMe (talk) 20:57, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
Discussions such as this are a big reason why I push wiki credibility so much as far as why it's better to put a higher rather than lower balance range for articles.
Not that it helps if the average user doesn't actually get that the balance range tag (which, to be fair, is kinda small) matters for the article's power :-/ --Ghostwheel (talk) 21:35, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
To be fair for everyone who understand how powerful casters are in 3.5 there is like 2 peps who think having samurai and monk in game is unrealistic and 3 peps who think ToB is overpowered. --Leziad (talk) 00:34, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for the link, I've opened myself up for a mini AMA, if anyone is still active in there. And thanks for defending us Ghost. Being confused with paleowiki is an anchor around our leg. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 00:40, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
Unfortunately, the thread is old enough that people aren't going to look through it to find your comment, which is right at the bottom, so I doubt you'd get many responses. Rather, I would suggest making a new topic, perhaps with an outrageous title. "One of the most broken classes people have found on dnd-wiki.org--creator does AMA" or something similarly silly to spark interest. --Ghostwheel (talk) 09:01, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
Probably the case. I won't press it though with another thread. Besides being shy, it comes off as a bit defensive and petty. Frankly, I'm pretty confident with what's here (even though it's a pretty old class, I usually have shifted opinions by now), so I'll be satisfied with simply thinking them wrong, until someone brings word of it again. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 16:38, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
