Please put any suggestions or concerns here. Paleomancer (talk) 20:18, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

Also, any suggestions for cryptids, horror creatures, and lovecraftian races are appreciated. Paleomancer (talk) 19:43, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

Horror Race[edit]

You may want to check out the Eldritch Horror. They also have some very interesting paragon option that may be usful as classes. --Franken Kesey (talk) 23:04, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

Thanks. I do need a suitable representation of the Fremd, for which the classes might be suitable. Paleomancer (talk) 22:00, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
As is, your races are devoid of depth. --Franken Kesey (talk) 07:08, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
Any suggestions? I have added a few details, but any ideas you have would be appreciated. Paleomancer (talk) 22:12, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
Here are a few possible horror races to look into: Octoxeno, S'uuisku, Ethergaunt, Sentient Illusion, Succedaneum and V'Kai. I did not realize before that you where using the simplified race rules before, and see you have done an excellent job integrating and balancing the races. --Franken Kesey (talk) 18:43, 21 September 2013 (UTC)

Classes[edit]

Why are there not any nightmare based classes? --Franken Kesey (talk) 23:00, 10 October 2012 (UTC)

I am still trying to come up with some ideas for that, although both priests and ritualists utilize dreamlands magic. If you have any suggestions, I would be happy to incorporate them :) Paleomancer (talk) 18:43, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
You are right there are not that many classes that involve dreams. This is one of the reasons that the Dream Lord was created. Also, you should check out Hyperconscious, the only book I know of that has a more in depth approach to dreams. Mind you hyperconscious is more psionics based, and the dreams therein are more temporal – but still a good read. --Franken Kesey (talk) 22:38, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
Heroes of Horror is another book that dabbles into dreams. --Franken Kesey (talk) 19:55, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
Nightmare classes? Imago quori says hi. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 10:57, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
Two more that relate: the Pseudonaught, and the Starspawn Host.--Franken Kesey (talk) 13:58, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
The Body Sprouter and Shape Eater are two other interesting classes. --Franken Kesey (talk) 15:30, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
Why no dream sage? Noted that some of the features of your referenced classes where changed to suit your purpose.--Franken Kesey (talk) 18:36, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
I am using several rules from this wiki, which some of the classes are not written for (namely Tome Skill sets); the Priest only has one plane they can visit (the Dreamlands), and having lots of followers does not fit the role priests have in the setting (lone agents rather than evangelists and ministers). Also, for some, like the Starspawn Host, I wanted to open options that would allow players to embrace the darker side of the setting, if they wanted (as the host of an entity of insanity, why wouldn't you want tentacles?). I was planning to use the Dream Sage, but I wanted to figure out base classes first, as that would help me determine who is likely to select it (I have no wisdom-based spellcasters yet), and how Dream sages would fit into a realm where the gods are really powerful dream creatures (they might look at such individuals askance, and Dream Sage powers might not be quite as effective against them).Paleomancer (talk) 03:21, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
I am curious how you see the dreamlands. What there mechanic and general form or origin of Why? is.--Franken Kesey (talk) 01:08, 11 November 2012 (UTC)

Puppeteer (Symbiote)[edit]

Like the fluff with your Puppeteer (Symbiote). Start working on the classes for this campaign. Want to see how a player could enter into the dreamscape.--Franken Kesey (talk) 19:40, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
