Well thought out and balanced.

Does absolutely everything I'd want out of a spell like this.

This is a neat spell; I like the fact that it is a ritual because there's often never enough ritual spells. Understandably, the core rules are cautious to put spells that trivialise these kinds of environmental dangers into the system, but this is a good way to implement this.

Fair enough, made some changes. --Ghostwheel (talk) 18:24, 22 April 2019 (MDT)

I can understand why you'd want it to refer to Extreme temperatures, but there are other instances that specific temperatures are referred to instant. If we look at the Minor Properties table (DMG 149), the Temperate ability mentions specific temperatures. Furthermore, to double citations, the Ring of Warmth (DMG 193) mentions a specific temperature as well. But, I do think that referring to Extreme Temperatures as well; I just wanted to make sure that we understand that the current syntax in the DMG uses temperatures.
Also, as a note, Endure Elements was left out for sure to make sure that Extreme Temperature is not trivialised, but I don't see any problems with introducing the spell. --TK-Squared (talk) 04:56, 23 April 2019 (MDT)
Solid points, I retract my complaint about temperature ranges. My experience is that games tend to either invoke the extreme weather rules or not without specifying the current temperature, but you're correct that it is specified in those other entries. Vaegrim (talk) 14:19, 23 April 2019 (MDT)
