Gamism and Pricing[edit]

A lot of materials have a fixed price for weapons regardless of size. While unrealistic, the gamist concept behind it is that a weapon that gives hardness 15 and +1d6 damage is equally useful regardless if its a dagger or a joviar. The ones that don't follow this usually have benefits that are affected by its damage size. This one doesn't, it's basically Aberration Bane, which is equally useful on all items. Why the price separation and spread on these? Germanium shortswords are objectively the best choice every time for this material since anything bigger will only get you fractions more damage for a much greater cost. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 09:45, 22 March 2021 (UTC)

If you have 70k left in funds for your main weapon, 5k and 15k are not that far apart. --Leziad (talk) 17:28, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
??? I don't understand. If you're rich, money doesn't matter? Ok, but... why? -- Eiji-kun (talk) 23:22, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
