Utility and world fluff spells like this are things that I like in my games, even if its use is a bit niche.

I'm not convinced that it shouldn't be a 1st level spell instead, but it's a small enough thing that it doesn't impact my rating.

Not sure this works as well as it could. The goal is to allow a character to pull an all-nighter, but the fatigue rules are not tied up with the sleep rules at all. It might be better to just say that this spell obviates the need for sleep (but not rest for spell recovery purposes) for one night, but leaves you fatigued or exhausted the following day until you have received actual sleep (though you can work around that if you have a 3rd level cleric friend around to lesser resto you a time or two). Mental ability burn as a result of using it might be appropriate too, since that would might force the sleeping period.

The protection from fatigue also has annoying interactions with ToP stuff, but I'm not sure if that's relevant. - Tarkisflux Talk 18:14, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

I have revamped the spell as you suggested, and hopefully it removes any annoying interactions that may come up. If there's anything else that needs to be corrected as per the rules involved, feel free to correct them of your own volition. - TG Cid (talk) 23:47, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
