| I found myself wondering if any Ooze races existed on the wiki. Imagine my joy when I found this! This is pretty much everything you want from an Ooze race, and for a very reasonable +1 LA. The flavor is well-thought out too. Wizards, man, no sense of right or wrong.

| This race is a good read (even though it is apparent the author will be adding more in the future, I'm still rating it now). The flavor text provides a nice balance of information and history without bogging it down campaign detail and preps the reader well for features they'll expect to see when they get to the Racial Traits section. Biological references often feel out of place in fantasy race descriptions, but as this is a xenotheric creature, it works favorably instead. As for the Racial Traits themselves, this is what you want for LA+1. Xenotheric creatures get access to some fun abilities by way of feats and will probably take priority in character creation. The interesting features let characters do fun things and the penalties work out in a way as to propel events rather than simply status effects. Aside from a few very minor formatting or word choice things (* instead of ×, capitalized race name which may be a holdover from Noo) which don't affect my rating here because that would be dumb, it's very easy to read and I give it my recommendation. If you're looking for a non-standard style LA+1 race, give it your consideration.

| I know five favors is redundant but I love this so much. I've been looking for a playable ooze forever and this does that so well! I'm just upset I didn't find this sooner.

3.5e Racial Traits template[edit]
It does not play nice with property links it seems. I've been trying to get this race to show up on the race table here among other things. Also, for the list entries to not flip out when I add the property links. Is there a passable workaround or should I just drop the race traits template entirely and format it by hand? --Sulacu (talk) 19:28, 28 October 2016 (UTC)
