Wow, this is an excellently designed set of monsters. This is probably my favorite monster of all that I've seen on the wiki or elsewhere. --DanielDraco 23:45, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Agreed. This set of monsters is a gem among the treasure horde of Sulacu's work :-). --Andrew Arnott (talk, email) 02:10, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

My comments[edit]

Check your numbers against other elementals of your CR. Early-on, they lag a bit (or a lot). Once this is remedied, I'll give you an A+ too. - MisterSinister 04:54, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

I probably gave this thing its CR based on its ability more than its actual strength; base HD values were twice that of the regular elementals. Tried giving the two earliest categories 4 extra HD (to 8 and 12 respectively), for a +3 increase in bab, and +2 to saves and special ability DCs. Not sure if that makes them too powerful. We'll see. --Sulacu 08:21, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

Right off the bat, the idea of an 'antimental' is simply cool, and the description set forward for this creature to describe that idea, just makes it more badass. Now, having said that, the stats given for this creature are excellent, as they offer a balanced foe for a character at several levels in the game, while still holding true to the idea of the thing itself. All in all, an amazingly built opponent. Favorred

I've ran this monster in a few games before and it was a lot of fun. The CR worked pretty well in a fighter-level game. And, of course, this one is very flavorful.

oh really scary, a creature of nothingness that can destroy you forever, good favor as well

Xeno[edit]

This is the only monster mentioned in complete xeno without a xenoteric or xenoblooded subtype. Do you want this added to reduce redundancy?--Franken Kesey 05:33, 5 April 2019 (MDT)
