Vertical Power Boost[edit]

As long as you have a swift action available, this feat appears to be a straight up vertical power boost, since you'll *always&* use it whenever you don't have anything else to do with a swift action; was that your intent, or did you mean for there to be an element of choice like in your other metastrike feat? --Ghostwheel (talk) 05:08, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

If you have a swift action (which some, like martial initiators, may not) then sure. Of course, -5 is still a hefty price to pay but if you're willing or able to pay it and have nothing better to do with your swifts (ie you're probably a vanilla fighter) then it is certainly a good use of your time, and your action economy. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 11:25, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
While I agree with you, I think for moderate-ranged characters it might be a REALLY big boost in power, since attack often outpaces AC; what do you think about it being High-level, given the boost in power it gives to fighters, not-fully-optimized rogues, and the like? I'm iffy on it, so I wouldn't hold the stance that it should absolutely be High-level, but I wanted to discuss it a little more to see what your thoughts on the matter were. --Ghostwheel (talk) 15:48, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
