Better Than[edit]

As it stands, the SRD armors have an optimal AC range of +6 to +11 when including the use of mithral to expand maximum dexterity bonuses. This grants an optimal AC of +12 (Increasing to +15 with a feat). This grants a better armor bonus than either of the alternatives, for cheaper (being the mithral chain shirt for 1,100 gp at an optimal +10 AC and mithral full plate for 10,500 gp at an optimal +11 AC. Since the reinforced jumpsuit isn't metal it can't be made out of mithral, that makes crunching numbers a bit easier since you don't have to worry about changes in Arcane Spell Failure Chance or Armor Check Penalty. Change some numbers here. It might be helpful for you to glance at Adjusted SRD Armors (3.5e Variant Rule) to get an idea of how armors stack up and see all their numbers stacked up, just keep in mind that values changed from the SRD are noted in bold text.

Also, a note on donning times. It amuses me that you'll need someone to squeeze into your skin-tight leather suit like some actress on the set of an Underworld movie. Though, you can just leave it on since light armors pose no penalty for keeping them on while resting. --Ganteka Future (talk) 19:25, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

It is a rather good armor, being semi-exotic. However to take maximal advantage of it potential you do need a feat and a very high ability score. Altough point taken I will lower the max dexterity a little bit. --Leziad (talk) 22:27, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
