AC 14[edit]

Why a fixed AC 14? -- Eiji Hyrule 03:54, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

It's basically a touch attack against a flatfooted target with a size bonus. So 10 + 0 from dex + 4 from size bonus for the item on the person. I could go and make it more accurate by making it a real touch attack with possibility of dex penalties and then add a bonus dependent on the size of the item you want to grab, but that seemed overly complicated for an already more complicated procedure. - TarkisFlux 06:08, August 18, 2010 (UTC)
Actually, after thinking about it, a straight touch attack with size adjustments for the item (or just 4 if you don't want to figure it out) wouldn't be much worse and would make picking the pocket of people with active defenses(read: high level) slightly harder and might be worth it... more ponderings... - TarkisFlux 19:21, August 18, 2010 (UTC)
Congratulations Eiji. Your one sentence has tricked me into convincing myself to revise it in a more complicated fashion that makes higher level chars and rogues harder to steal from. Well played. - TarkisFlux 22:15, August 18, 2010 (UTC)
Ufufu, just as planned! -- Eiji Hyrule 13:20, August 19, 2010 (UTC)
