HOLY MOTHER OF TOUCH ATTACKS, BATMAN[edit]

Why is it all touch attacks, tho? Not even Wizards get toys like this, because they're usually much more limited in their use, and such things tend to offer saves. This allows you to effectively spit on whatever armor the poor sap is wearing, and also natural armor. It's just way too many. -SecondDeath777 03:48, 30 June 2019

It's mostly due to the fact that you're kinda ripping through reality to begin with, and thus armor doesn't do a whole hell of a lot to stand in your way. I could, of course, change it to a normal melee attack, but I don't really see why I should. After all, AC and HP aren't as important in this game as saves, status effects and DR/SR. Lastly, there are also Wards that can help with touch AC, especially since it's easy enough to obtain one. Plus, I'm sure somewhere there's a similar armor/shield enchant or a magical ring for it, and by the time you're making more than one melee touch attack per round, AC doesn't really matter anymore. However, I could allow a Reflex save for half damage against all Rift Slashes that are initiated by touch attacks and don't already allow a save; I'll think about it. --Zhenra-Khal (talk) 13:51, 30 June 2019 (MDT)
