Really more of a field than a screen isn't it?

The range is a bit weird. It's personal, but allows you to make a line with it that stretches off into the distance. I assume the personal means that you have to occupy part of the spell when it's cast (like in the bubble version), but that also means that you suffer from your own dispelling screen. It could use a bit of clarity on both those fronts. - Tarkisflux Talk 03:50, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

It's also a bit odd that you go on about creatures in the area when it's a flat wall with no volume. --Foxwarrior 07:13, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, I don't really know what I was trying to do here. Ideally I would try and do that flat barrier (that was the intent, I think), but I don't know how logistically feasible that is. I'm thinking only the edge of the "AoE" would then dispel, so it would still keep effects from entering and leaving but as long as it is localized inside the bubble-effect magic could still go off without a hitch. This sounds fine to me, except for what happens when you have intersecting AoE's and the like. - TG Cid 16:27, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
Bump. The range is pretty weird. I see what you were doing, but I don't think this is the way of doing it. --Undead_Knave (talk) 11:33, 18 March 2017 (MDT)

Spell Compendium version[edit]

Is this supposed to be like the wall of greater dispel magic from Spell Comp?
