Cr 14?[edit]

Against ranged attackers with invisibility, or a very high movement speed, it is mostly ineffective. It is completely defenseless against flying ranged attackers, having no way to effectively retaliate or even escape. --Fluffykittens (talk) 08:12, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

Funny you bring it up, I was just debating this. When I made it I knew it had the "tarrasque problem" and wondered if I should address it (I probably am, and it may bump the CR up by one). I was less concerned cause unlike Big T, its CR 14, but still I should give it something.
Still debating, but watch soon. Most likely I will give it full siege traits (including immunity to ranged projectiles) and something to handle magic better since it's got super special golden fur. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 08:22, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

I would also nerf golden hide, in order to be a bit less harsh on the poor little evokers, and make siege body halve damage from magic attacks which don't cover at least (x) squares. I would also specify that throw off the disability does not apply to terrain or effects which cover an area for a duration (like stone to lava). Also, might be good to allow him to try and crush people climbing on him via rolling or smashing into walls. --Fluffykittens (talk) 09:12, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
Why worry about the evokers? Worry about those with save or dies. I rather a reflected fireball than a reflected finger of death.
The resistance to area effect magic is actually already part of Bohemethian, and appears as a bonus on saves.
