Welcome to the Snake Handler Priest[edit]

Welcome to the Snake Handler Priest "talk" page. This is, by far, the most complicated class I have ever written. Feel free to look it over and give me some notes on what you think works... or doesn't work. Mostly, I just hope a class that took me so long to write actually catches someone's eye. Thanks for checking it out --Nolanf (talk) 20:04, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Interesting. It appears to be a weaker cleric (which I suppose is appropriate for High level), as I don't think the snake themed class features necessarily balance out the loss of high level spells and slow progression. I have not done the math on the animal companion yet, so I don't know how strong it is. I see opportunities to make it a buffer pokemon trainer type build. A rating will come later when I have a clear idea on the snakes. One thing I can say; makes me want there to be some snake themed feature which is constant. Summoning snakes is good, but limited (the real power of summons is mostly in versatility of options) so I won't be using it all the time, and when I'm not I'm just a gimped cleric. Not sure what I'd use, just something that's always there and sets me apart as the snake guy, even when not in battle. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 06:27, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for your interest. I did my homework on the snake companion. The CR on it should build to 10 by about level 18 - right in line with the summoning ability.
It's funny you should mention pokemon. I was thinking the same thing by the time I finished writing this. So I went ahead and wrote this.
