Burrow Speed Query[edit]
Hey, one question regarding burrowing. According to the Wizards glossary, if a creature is described as able to burrow through stone, it can, and its ability to leave tunnels behind it is also down to flavour text. Given that neither Larvitar nor its evolutions have any flavour text, how good are they at burrowing? I mean, it would seem a little odd if a powerful earth type like Tyranitar was unable to dig through slate, for example, if not stone in general, but I'd prefer some clarity on this one please. (on second examination, extend this question to every. single. pokemon. that happens to have a burrow speed. Fix please, or if you're too busy, let me do it.)
- Given that they have no flavor text, they are unable to burrow through stone at their burrow speed and do not leave a tunnel. That's the case whenever it doesn't explicitly state otherwise.
- Tyranitar specifically can manage to dig slowly through stone just by eating through it slowly (hardness 8, Tyranitar can pull off 9 damage at minimum with a Bite), it just happens not to be able to burrow through stone like it was swimming through water. --Quantumboost 02:42, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
