Yeah, you could dip a single level of wizard to pick this up, and never cast another spell again for 2 free feats. Pretty borked. Flaws originally didn't have prereqs, and attempts to give them prereqs don't tend to work out well since those can easily be exploited.

Even worse now, flaw is meaningless and any non-caster can take it for a free feat with absolutely not downsides.

This isn’t even a flaw. A spell caster with this “flaw” should always try to fail their concentration check because there is no downside. Nothing says the spell fails or is wasted and you get a free burst effect centered on yourself. These bursts have decent DCs but target creatures around you. Not you.


If this was a feat, I’d take it on a duskblade. But it is certainly not a flaw Grog toad (talk) 21:46, 23 May 2020 (UTC)
