| Breaking the RNG and playing against fundamental rules of the game isn't balanced out by telling the DM it's okay to make up stuff that keeps them from doing that - that's just an admission that the abilities you gave the class aren't appropriate.

| The idea of willingly swearing subservience to another character is refreshing, but the DM Note in italics and the numerically extreme but otherwise fairly uninspired class features are unpleasant.
