It's an LA race, which is bad, and I'm disappointed that your way of acceding to Ghostwheel's demands was to take out the only attribute that makes them actually distinct in a social and setting sense.

Removed LA, and made some major changes to this article. Please re-rate.--Franken Kesey 12:58, 24 March 2019 (MDT)

Wait--so you're out of the story for a quarter to a third of the time? What kind of idiocy is this? Writing style feels short and forced with horrible transitions. If you don't sleep you die? Is this even flavor?? This needs to be in the mechanical section. Beyond that the racial abilities look retarded and inane, with attempted penalties of Strength and Charisma (lol, Charisma) given to outweigh things like telepathy, a +4 bonus to attacks and +2 to AC and a bunch of other things that are often irrelevent to most campaigns, such as ones that don't actually use bio-energy. I would never play this race, and wouldn't allow anyone to play one in my games.

I would like to request a rating update. --Franken Kesey 12:52, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
Why is Ghost's apparently negative review showing up as a Like? -- Eiji-kun 12:58, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
I have no idea. Will at least fix that to hate. (If you would like to raise it, go ahead.) --Franken Kesey 13:07, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

follow up on rating[edit]

A few alternatives:

  1. do away with hibernation, making them sleepless like other outsiders.
  2. Have put a disclaimer in summary
  3. the transformation from youngling to adult cannot occur within a campaign. So in essence this is a race and its variant. The variant for campaigns without the bio-energy ability. Although they are yin and yang to each other.
  4. one more LA

One question. How would you penalise their bio-energy abilities? --Franken Kesey 23:39, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Why does this not show up on the race nav page? --Franken Kesey 22:02, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
