Woah, hold on. The number of extra weapons you can wield is completely arbitrary? U wot?-SecondDeath777 14:24, 19 February 2018

It's up to your Dex mod, but yes, you are holding more weapons than your traditional limbs have function for. Mouthsword! Speararmpit! Axebutt! It's all yours! -- Eiji-kun (talk) 18:38, 20 February 2018 (MST)
No no no, I mean it just doubles the number of attacks you get. I could be holding 3 spears or 30 spears, and fuck-all changes! Y tho? -SecondDeath777 21:29, 20 February 2018
Mechanical reason; because it would be broken if you could have an arbitrarily high amount of extra attacks from this.
Fluff reason; you may be a hecatoncherires with 100 chainsaws, but you can only apply so many chainsaws within 6 seconds of time. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 19:51, 20 February 2018 (MST)
I mean, sure...but it gives a cap to how many you can hold...and goes BF nowhere with it. Makes me a little sad. -SecondDeath777 22:00, 20 February 2018
There is still use for it. One is handedness, the more "hands" you have the more two-handed weaponry you can wield. ....actually re-reading it, it just says "weapons" not how many effective hands you have. Perhaps a point to clarify Leziad. The other one is weapons with gimmick purpose. A spear for threatened reach when you otherwise have melee weapons. A disarming weapon while you use your more damaging blades after you disarm them. Guns with different ammo types. Oh, it's niche to be sure, but I see a purpose to it. It's basically giving you quick draw options without quick draw, as the weapon is already drawn forth. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 20:25, 20 February 2018 (MST)
