Template talk:Miniature list

Daranios, do you have a mock up / example of what this is supposed to look like when it's finished? - TarkisFlux 21:35, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

The table is there now at DnDWiki:Dangerous Delves, but I don't like the way it looks like, yet. I have almost no experience with tables. I wanted to put all the information into this table, that is now in categories in the artlices within Category:Miniatures, so that we could merge all miniatures under their appropriate publication name, like Dangerous Delves.
At the moment I worry about three things: I would like the text in the columns left-hand side rather than centrally; I have no idea, why the word "Type" appears in the column Type; and it would be nice if the columns, that are completely empty, would be invisible. Daranios 21:49, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
The Type entry here was weird, and I fixed it. You'll need to add Type= to all of the entries on that page to get rid of the {{{Type}}} entries. Was there a reason you're using a template call instead of just putting these things directly into the table? The template call doesn't seem to do anything but make you type more. - TarkisFlux 21:58, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, your solution is great. I still slightly prefer using the template, though, it has pros and cons: The template means more text (which I would usually not type in, but copy-past), at least if we do not decide to add things like "Align - left" in the other columns. The template has the charme, that one can change formatting of the whole table with one edit in the template (and the column names appear as the appropriate lines, so I do not have to count them).
