Nesca and Telesca Alear

Twins are rare among the Drow community and twin females are even rarer. Nesca and Telesca and are fraternal twins, both slender, white hair and the height of their mother and X00 years old. Nesca and Telesca were the firstborn of Matron Mother Zesstra. Matron Mother Zesstra considers the twins a sign of future prosperity granted to House Alear from Loath.

Nesca and Telesca are not identical but do share one distinct trait, both have one purple eye and one amber eye in the opposite position.

(Secret it is long since been suspected that Nesca and Telesca share a telepathic bond, this is true and the sisters and kept this secret from anyone but Matron Mother Zesstra. They have used it to their advantage both in Arachne-Tarantu and in their torment of Talace)

Nesca and Telesca are the antheses of Talace, for all their sisters’ shortcomings Nesca and Telesca have only known success and praise.

Nesca and Telesca excelled through Arachne-Tarantu with uncanny success. (using their gifts made it easier). Upon graduation, Nesca was offered a position within Arachne-Tarantu while Telesca returned to House Alear to serve as second in command.

Matron Mother Zesstra utilizing Nesca and Telesca’s gift can keep a sharp ear out for goings-on of Arachne-Tarantu.

Nesca did not make things easy for Talace during her training at Arachne-Tarantu and Telesca does the same back at house Alear. Tormenting their sister is one of their favorite past times. Neither knows what happened behind the close doors meeting about Talace at Arachne-Tarantu.

Both females are ambitious and have their eye on either Matron Mother Zesstra’s chair or ruling another house altogether. Fear and respect keep them in check as Matron Mother Zesstra is a daunting person to go against.

Unlike most Drow, the twins will not and cannot betray each other, with their mental link they have 100% trust in each other and would rather die together or rule together than be alone. The death of one would be like the death of half a person it would irreversibly damage the other’s mental stability.
