Toxic Mine[edit]

This hexagonal instant trap is hollow and filled with pressurized inhaled or contact poison. When an unsuspecting victim steps upon it, a gout of poison is released in a 5 ft cube of gas (regardless of the normal effects of the poison) that lasts 1 round. The trap is small enough to be tossed out as an attack action (range increment 10 ft). This is considered a trap, with a Search DC of 20 and a Disable Device DC of 20, but if you take time to hide the trap you may use your Craft Trap or Survival result as the Search DC. This typically takes at least 1 round.

Filling a toxic mine is a full round action which provokes attacks of opportunity. The mines can be reused once discharged.

A toxic mine weighs 1 lb and costs 300 gp each.
