The caster points his finger, and from that place, a darkness akin to the night begins to spread.
The caster creates an area of total darkness. Neither normal vision nor darkvision can see through it, although the caster is exempt from both of these limitations. Creatures outside the spell's area (even the caster) cannot see through it with normal vision or darkvision.
This spell can be cast on a point in space, but is stationary unless used on a mobile object or a creature. Unattended objects or points in space do not receive a save against this spell, but creatures and attended objects allow a Will save to stop the darkness forming.
